Was Terri Schiavo a Victim of Dark Forces?

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

Five years ago on March 31, 2005 an innocent woman died from the result of a decision handed down by a federal court. Terri Schiavo, who was dependant upon a feeding tube, was starved to death 13 days after it was removed on March 18, 2005. (If you are not familiar with this event, please read more about it here.)

Despite efforts by state and federal legislatures to overturn the court order it ultimately stood and Terri died. You can argue whether or not certain convicted criminals who have been executed at the hands of the state were innocent, but it is undeniable that Terri was completely innocent. Why did this happen? How could a court of the United States of America sink to this level of evil?

A clue may lie in the choice of legal representation that was chosen by Michael Schiavo, Terri’s husband, who relentlessly pursued the legal means to put her to death. One of the lawyers, George Felos, wrote a book entitled “Litigation as Spiritual Practice” in 2002. In this revealing work Felos implies that he is directly in touch with spiritual forces. One passage in the book touches on the occult practice of “visualization”, a technique in which a person concentrates or visualizes something in their mind to make it happen in reality. Visualization has entered in to the mainstream in recent years, but it still has its roots in the occult. Felos recalls one particular incident in which he attempted to use this “power”.

"About a half-hour into the journey [plane trip] the thought crossed my mind, I wonder what it would be like to die right now? The thought particularly intrigued me since I felt so "conscious" at the moment. I indulged the thought by imagining the plane starting to lose its trajectory and descend. As the nose of the aircraft headed down, I distinctly felt concern arise and swiftly shift to panic among the passengers. My visualization was particularly vivid. As we went into a free fall, I heard screaming everywhere and saw objects frenziedly flying and smashing all around the cabin." (emphasis mine)

After this peculiar and terrifying experience Felos claims to hear the audible voice of “God” tell him "Be careful what you think. You are more powerful than you realize."

I do not think Felos heard the voice of God on that flight, but I am certain he heard something speak to him. Was (is) he in touch with demonic entities? It is interesting to note that Mr. Felos considers himself a “right to die advocate.” In other words, his main purpose in life is to seek the death of people. Do dark spiritual forces guide him in this pursuit?

During Teri’s last days before her untimely death Mr. Felos held multiple press conferences in which he detailed, in his opinion, what she was going through as she slowly succumbed to dehydration. In stark contrast to what everyone else was saying about Terri’s condition during her ordeal, Felos made the following statements:

"She is calm, she is peaceful, she is resting comfortably. ... Her lips are not chapped, they're not bleeding. Her skin's not peeling. Frankly when I saw her ... she looked beautiful. In all the years I've seen Mrs. Schiavo, I've never seen such a look of peace and beauty upon her."

This outrageous, and erroneous, observation led Terri’s brother, Bobby Schindler, to say "I think Mr. Felos has some infatuation with death."

As we speed toward a massive “reform” of healthcare on Capitol Hill, we should pause to reflect on the consequences of letting judges and legislators make decisions on life and death. During Terri’s struggle the US Congress tried to enact legislation to save Teri’s life after her feeding tube was removed under a court order for the last time. What began as a legitimate effort to save her life quickly turned into a political circus and the effort collapsed. Many Senators and Representatives decried the fact that the federal lawmakers were getting involved in health care decisions. Apparently it was perfectly alright for a federal judge to do so however. Now Congress, with some of the very same members, is creating health care “reform” legislation that much more invasive when it comes to these same decisions than what they were involved in during 2005. When you control the health care delivery system, you ultimately decide who lives and who dies. It is just that simple.

Incredibly, in hindsight President Obama deeply regrets his actions as a member of the US Senate during this debate when he voted in favor of saving the life of Terri Schiavo. He made the following statement in 2008 regarding Terri:

“I think that was a mistake and I think the American people understood that that was a mistake. And as a constitutional law professor, I knew better”

Why would then Presidential candidate Barack Obama backtrack on a vote that erred on the side of caution to save the life of a young woman and claim it was a mistake?

It is also interesting to note that another lawyer who worked on the legal team to have Terri put to death was Thomas Perrelli. Mr. Perrelli was appointed by the Obama administration as the associate attorney general in the United States Justice Department in January. His position is the third highest in the department.

Are there dark spiritual forces working in this world? It would certainly seem so. It would also seem they hold sway at the highest levels of the legal system and the government. We are facing dark times in the world. The storm clouds are on the horizon. Let us pray that the tragic events surrounding Terri Schiavo are not just the tip of an enormous, insidious iceberg.
