Another Will Come In His Own Name

I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. (John 5:43)
This one line of scripture is pregnant with meaning as Yashua/Jesus is declaring to the Pharisees, the religious leaders of His time, that He had come in His Father’s name. We know what happened. The Pharisees and other religious leaders didn’t believe He was the Messiah. Remember even Phillip, who would later become one of Jesus disciples, asks, Can anything good come out of Nazareth? The people who lived at the time when Yashua/Jesus walked the earth didn’t know who He was. They, in fact, did not recognize him and they plotted to kill him.
What we see next, in this text, is the warning that someone else, another, will come in his own name and the Jews will receive him. This begs the question, who is this person that Yashua/Jesus is referring to? I believe it is non other than the Anti-Christ, or the one who is instead of Christ. It is this man who will negotiate a deal between the Jews and the Muslims and allow the Jews to build the temple on the temple mount in Jerusalem. The Jews will receive this man. They will believe in him. They will embrace him as Messiah! It is alarming to think that this will come to pass. That at some point, and I believe it will be sooner than later, this will come to pass. The Jews will actually receive the Anti Christ. They will celebrate him. They will cheer him on. However, at some point they will realize that they have been deceived. We know this because, they will look at him whom they have pierced and mourn for him as an only son! The Jews will look at the one who was pierced on Calvary 2000 years ago. They will see Him as He descends on the Mount of Olives and as His feet touch the earth that mountain will split in two!
I believe that we are heading toward the fulfillment of these events. I think that we’re closer than we realize. The universe has been engaged in a cosmic war, between the son’s of light and the son’s of darkness, between the Kingdom of El Elyon, the Most High God, and the kingdom of the Fallen One, Lucifer. The fighting is growing more intense and at some point, when The Fallen One is cast out of the second heaven and falls to earth, the final battle will take place.
The end game is to set up the one who is instead of Messiah, as God, to be worshipped as God in the reconstructed temple in Jerusalem. The Jews will receive this one who is an imposter, who is in fact the anti-Messiah.
Have you received the Messiah into your heart? Have you made a decision to accept the one who came in His Father’s name? Today is the day of salvation! If we open our hearts and minds to Him, He will come and dwell with us. He stands at the door of your heart, but you must make a move to open it. The gift He brings, to those of us who believe, is eternal life. Yashua/Jesus came in His Father’s name, yet His own did not receive Him. If you have not received Him will you then welcome the false messiah, the Anti Christ?
