In his article, The Upcoming Deception, author Grant Porter stated “watch the [attached] movie Zeitgeist and you’ll see how wrong you actually are on your website. You are being manipulated in everyway, everyday!!! Because the powers that be (behind the scenes) don’t want you to know the truth! The real truth is that religion is nothing more than a plagiarized story from Egyptian Book of the Dead and slightly altered to become the bible that we know today! All for the sake of trying to control the masses!”
Porter went on to say that it is the Illuminati that are manipulating us behind the scenes with all their lies because they do not want us to know the truth because that would end their power and ability to manipulate us. The truth he said would set us free but what was this truth to Porter? By the way, he uses far too many exclamation points. This along with his way out conspiracy theories are usually a sign of a weak argument as well as being poor grammar.
“I don’t know what god is but I do know what he isn’t. A real loving God would never allow the terrible things that go on this planet to continue. I know I would not if I were him.”
In John 8:32, Jesus said “the truth will set you free”. All the lies and fabrications presented in the movie Zeitgeist along with Porter’s notion that he would be a more loving God than the God of the Bible will ironically not set you free but instead will subjugate you to further error and confusion. The video that I have attached is one of the best that I have seen in explaining both historically, scholarly, and factually as well as Biblically the errors and falsehoods about Christianity presented in Porter’s recommended movie Zeitgeist. It was done by Beit Shalom Ministries.
This video is all inclusive as well as entirely definitive and exhaustive in its critique of Zeitgeist the movie as well as presenting the real truth of the gospel. All that I can add is “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do” Luke 23:34.
