Today is the one year anniversary of Hearken the Watchmen.  We “went live” last year on August 19, 2009 with the article The Looming Great Harpazo Deception by Dr. Stephen Yulish.  Since then HTW has grown from four contributors to ten with more Christian writers and researchers waiting in the wings.  Look for an expansion of the website and other exciting projects connected with this group of excellent contributors in the future.

Jesus always had some harsh words for the religious establishment of His day. (John 8:44 KJV)  Likewise, they were always looking for ways to entrap Him with His own words and ultimately they did just that. Often they would pose a ridiculous hypothetical question to Jesus hoping he would “slip up” and incriminate Himself in front of his followers and disciples. Before Jesus was to be crucified Pontius Pilate brought Him and a man named Barabbas before a crowd of people gathered before him. It was customary in that day to release a prisoner during a holiday or festival as a token of good faith toward the people.

Five years ago on March 31, 2005 an innocent woman died from the result of a decision handed down by a federal court. Terri Schiavo, who was dependant upon a feeding tube, was starved to death 13 days after it was removed on March 18, 2005.  Why did this happen?
