   Holy Love

L.A. Marzulli - November 30, 2010

Who is the comforter of our souls? Who knows our joys and sorrows, our pains and triumphs, our every thought? I once had a vision of the Lord, while driving. I was up against it and feeling very depressed. There he was in front of me and I saw his eyes, holy eyes that were burning with holy love for me. I wept…

   Paula's Miraculous Christmas Cookie Basket

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 29, 2010

Every year for the past twenty years at this time of year, Paula takes out the same beautiful Christmas Cookie Basket that I gave to her way back in 1989. The amazing and yet obviously disconcerting thing was that I was living with another woman at the time! What was the big deal, I had asked myself? I know. I know. So sue me!

Ancient Aliens: The History Channel Has Their Mind Already Made Up!

L.A. Marzulli - November 26, 2010

The problem with the show is that they are fixated on one side of the debate. Last August they filmed me for about two hours. I doubt very much that any of that footage will be shown in season two and the reason for this is, is that I present another paradigm that does not jibe with the producers of the show.

   Having A Kung Fu Thanksgiving

Dr. Chuck Missler - November 24, 2010

In the fall of 1621, 50 English colonists and about 90 native Wampanoag men gathered together to feast and play games. Nearly 400 years later, American families gather together to feast and watch football. After gorging, family members nap – in order to be their fittest at 3am when they will Kung Fu their way into the mall. Black Friday brings out the Jackie Chan in anybody.

   Giving Thanks

Dr. Chuck Missler - November 24, 2010

Psalm 30:11-12 - "Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;  To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."

   A Nation of Fierce Countenance

Michael Hoggard - November 23, 2010

In this video update Pastor Michael Hoggard explores the Biblical concept of the nations.  Will the United States come under a curse from God? Is that idea in the Bible? Do angels have a secret language? The answers to those questions in this video may surprise you.

A Modern Day Case of Demonic Possession

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 22, 2010

I just ran across this case study in the February 2008 issue of the New Oxford Review Vol. LXXV, Number 2. What was so intriguing about it was not only the valiant attempt to document an alleged "clear cut case of demonic possession", but more importantly to me at least was the scientific qualifications of the researcher. Richard Gallagher MD is not only a board certified psychiatrist in private practice in Hawthorne, NY but also is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at New York Medical College and on the faculty of Columbia University Psychoanalytic Institute as well for a Roman Catholic Seminary.

   Thanksgiving And Worship

Dr. Chuck Missler - November 18, 2010

Many of us long to be in the presence of God, to enjoy His company and to know Him.  We know that worship is the best way to get to that place where we feel God gather us up in His lap, and we know that giving thanks is a major part of worship.  But, there is more to it.  The following from Nancy Missler's Private Worship: The Key to Joy reminds us of what it is to come before God in the fullness of love.

   Spiritual Wickedness In High Places

Dr. Chuck Baldwin - November 17, 2010

Almost immediately after Adam’s fall, Lucifer and his minions collaborated with evil men to usurp God’s authority and sovereignty. And nowhere is God more sovereign than in the heart and conscience of man. In the spirit world, the First Commandment (“Thou shalt have no other gods before me”) is the battleground that is most fought over. The war for man’s heart and soul is never-ending.

Revelation: The Time Is At Hand - Part IV

Kevin E. Johnson - November 17, 2010

Today we turn to the church in Pergamos. To them John wrote, And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

   Is Any Place Safe?

L.A. Marzulli - November 16, 2010

Is any place safe? I get asked this question both when I’m speaking at conferences and about once a week in my email. The answer, in my opinion is no. The planet is wired together and the military has equipment that can locate a mosquito in the middle of a haystack. There’s no place on this planet that a person can run to that won’t be affected by what is coming on the earth.

Holy War With "Snakes" On a Plane!

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 15, 2010

If you were ever confronted by a rattlesnake on a plane (as in that horrible movie) or anywhere else for that matter, what would you do?  Would you attempt to talk your way out of this potentially deadly experience? Would you put your arms around the snake and sing cumbaya to the sound of the bloodcurdling rattling noise?

   Veterans Day Redux

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 12, 2010

On the past Veteran’s Day, I was reflecting on my own lack of military service. I was in Bill Clinton’s brigade. I resisted the draft in the Vietnam War. When I graduated in Human Evolution in 1969, I could not go as I wished to grad school. I did alternate service in the inner city of Cleveland teaching Fifth grade. I would have been safer in Vietnam with all the riots and burnings.

   Abortions Hurt Women

Dr. Chuck Missler - November 12, 2010

Since the abortion rights movement started gaining ground nearly 40 years ago, abortion has been postured as an issue of women's rights and as a way of advancing the freedoms of women. However, when Roe v. Wade legalized abortion, millions of women began having to deal with the painful psychological, physical and spiritual realities of the issue.

   Americas Bread And Circus Society

Dr. Chuck Baldwin - November 12, 2010

I submit that a good many in America are, like Rome of old, carelessly frittering away their God-given liberties, foolishly clamoring for nothing more than government handouts and never-ending entertainment. Millions and millions of Americans (especially males) are literally intoxicated with sports. Sports are no longer a great American pastime; they are now a great American obsession.

   The Sacrifices of Our Veterans

Chad Miles - November 11, 2010

On this Veterans Day I was reflecting, as I often do, on my own military service.  It occurred to me that this year marks the 20th anniversary of when I enlisted in the Army.  It is hard to believe twenty years has gone by since I strolled into the recruiting office as a nineteen year old goofball who was working as a dishwasher at a small restaurant and asked the Army sergeant sitting behind the desk how I could become a paratrooper.  He thought it was a joke at first and asked his buddy working with him if he set me up to this.

   Who Stands for the Children?

Derek Gilbert - November 10, 2010

Over 800 people were arrested this weekend past in a massive sweep of suspected pedophiles and the pimps who supply them.  Nearly 70 children were rescued, although in truth, it's hard to say how many of these damaged souls will ever recover the lives they might have had.

Revelation: The Time Is At Hand - Part III

Kevin E. Johnson - November 10, 2010

In our current series in the book of Revelation, we come to the second letter to the churches; the letter to the church in Smyrna. To reiterate, there are seven letters to seven churches, actual Christian assemblies that existed at the time of this writing in the Roman province of Asia Minor. As we have previously stated, there were more than seven churches at this time in Asia Minor. These seven however were chosen for some reason to represent the entirety of the Church Age. There exact order fits the pattern of seven distinct periods of Church history. Had they been in any other order they would not have fit the pattern. This book, as is all of the Bible, is truly amazing.

What You Absolutely Need to Know About the Movie "Knowing"

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 8, 2010

I could not think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning than to veg out on a good, entertaining sci-fi movie. I have loved doing that very thing for over 50 years so why stop now. I loved movies like Forbidden Planet with Robbie the Robot and The Day the Earth Stood Still. I had seen the trailers and it looked fast paced and exciting which it turned out to be but the reaction to the movie by the critics (it was panned) and the general public (it was #1 at the box office) as well by me turned out to be not what I was expecting.

   What Makes Worship So Important?

Dr. Chuck Missler - November 5, 2010

Now, I've been a Christian for over 47 years, so you'd think that I would, at least, have a handle on what true worship is. The truth that the Lord showed me was, yes, I praised Him, yes, I read His Word and yes, I confessed and repented of my sins on a daily basis. But, after I did these things, I would get up and go about my business, without so much as a thought about truly worshiping Him.

The Church is NOT Israel! The Pope is WRONG!

L.A. Marzulli - November 4, 2010

The moment we begin to embrace replacement theology, we move away from what is laid out very clearly in the Bible. How do we account for the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37? The Jews were gathered from the four corners of the earth and they were reestablished in their ancient homeland. They are now dwelling in a land of unwalled villages. The later rain falls again and the desert blooms.

Revelation: The Time Is At Hand - Part II

Kevin E. Johnson - November 3, 2010

Through the years as I have studied the book of Revelation, when I would come to the letters to the seven churches I readily saw of course the local application of them. In other words, I recognized them as literal congregations, many of them with very real problems. I also saw the ecclesiastical or homiletic value in that they contained practical help and counsel for all Christians and all churches of all times.

   My Love For Him

L.A. Marzulli - November 1, 2010

It’s been 30 years since I became born again. I was 30 at the time I accepted the Lord, I turn 60 this December. I had been to Woodstock, had a guru, read everything I could about Carlos Castenada, and had a live-in-girl friend. Then the Lord found me and my eyes were opened. The girl-friend moved out and I became celibate until I met my wife – now of 26 years – and married her.

John Keel Author of The Mothman Prophecies Has Died

Dr. Stephen Yulish - November 1, 2010

He remained for decades one of the most original and controversial ufologists. Keel concluded that “ufology was just another name for demonology”. In 1967, he abandoned the extraterrestrial hypothesis when his own field investigators disclosed an astounding overlap between psychic phenomena and UFOs.
