I was thinking the other day how I know that Paula and I are indeed soul mates. I thought or all the things that have happened in my life and how they all have led me to Paula even my first marriage to Dvorah. God has His hand in it all from the Beginning. Thank you Jesus.

The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego is one of the most fun miracles in the Old Testament.  These three Hebrews stood up to King Nebuchadnezzar and were thrown into the furnace for it. They obeyed God and remained faithful to Him, trusting that God could marvelously, miraculously save them. They didn't know exactly what was going to happen, though. They knew that God could save them. They didn't know if He would.

Last week in our series on faith and miracles, we learned about the abundant provision God gave a woman with five children to feed. When we hear those sorts of stories, we're grateful for God's coming through in times of great need. However, we don't always think that God is willing to take care of us in the "small" things too, things that maybe not all people will recognize as important.   Fear and doubt edge into our prayer-lives in a variety of ways.

Christmas is a man-made invention that centers around the Roman feast day of the Saturnalia. This was held near the Winter Solstice and traces its roots back to the ancient Babylonian false religious system. However, the United States of America declared it a national holiday and we celebrate December 25, as the birthday of Yashua/Jesus.

Cristian Negureanu’s article 200,000 Year Old Statue found on the Moon,  which appeared on May 5, 2009 first introduced us to this mysterious angel statue purported to have been brought back from the Apollo 11 moon mission some forty years ago. Its sudden appearance was attributed to a NASA geologist by the name of Dr. Morris Charles who it is said worked for NASA for 23 years and left in 1987. This was first reported in the Weekly World News on April 27, 2009 by an Erik Van Datiken (sounds too much like Erich von Däniken of the 1968 book Chariots of the Gods?) so let us begin there.

The economy may be having one of its down-and-out years, but Americans seem to be more excited than ever about celebrating this Christmas season. Wal-Mart may not be packed at 8 AM, but people still walk around decked up in red and green. Folks are still bedazzling their neighborhoods with the lights on their houses and they're even sticking antlers and big round red noses on their cars.

The two best gifts that I ever got were given to me directly from the Lord and they thus mean the most to me. The first was salvation and eternal life and the second was my wife Paula.

Israel National News reported Saturday night (July 21, 2007) that a group of Kabbalists (Jewish mystic Rabbis) in Israel had made the startling statement that a major war would take place in Israel very soon. They apparently received their information from a variety of mystical sources including "communicating with autistic children." They also said that Iran would be involved but that great miracles of Hashem (God) would take place which would be recognizable to all even non Kabbalists.

I love this time of the year. It is not because of the snowmen or the sleigh bells (there was little snow in Palestine) or Santa Claus or reindeer or the tree or presents. It is because this is the season commemorating the birth of our Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Christmas season is in its full bustle now, and millions of families around the world are busily moving furniture and pulling out boxes of decorations to beautify their living rooms with Christmas trees. However, there seems to be very little connection between decorated evergreens and the birth of Jesus Christ. Many Christians wonder whether they should continue the tradition of the Christmas tree, while others have no qualms and enjoy all the trappings of the Christmas season. We have provided below a series of histories and legends for the benefit of all who wonder about the historical significance of the Christmas tree and how it ties into Christian tradition.

I challenge Christians to objectively look at the great stories of Bible heroes (in both testaments) and observe how many times they are noted for either being martyred for defying a civil authority, or, perhaps, for being delivered from death for defying a civil authority. The stories of defiance to civil government (in one form or another) comprise a great percentage of all the stories contained in the Bible–perhaps even a majority of them.

I try to run at least three times a week. I need to do this as it keeps the old gut from expanding to the size of the GoodYear Blimp. I run three, flat, miles on the asphalt parking lot of Zuma Beach. If the tide is low, I kick off the running shoes and hit the sand. It is a time of prayer and reflection for me.

In our ongoing study in the book of Revelation, we come to the third chapter and the last three of the seven churches the Lord sent messages to through His servant John. As we have previously stated these seven churches while certainly literal congregations, also were chosen as representative of the entire Church Age. These last three represent the Reformation period (1500 – to present day); the Missionary period (1800 – to present); and the Apostate Church (We are not certain at what point it began, but it certainly continues to the present hour.)

The first thing to notice about the Gospels is that they are skillfully designed; each one is tailored to suit its specific perspective. Matthew was a Jew, a Levite; he presents Jesus Christ as the Messiah of Israel"the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. This first book of the New Testament plunges right in to establish Jesus as the Meshiach Nagid, the Messiah the King.

Sheri Munson gazed into her refrigerator. She saw a box of Arm & Hammer baking soda, a bottle of ancient mustard, and some very old packets of soy sauce. The barren cupboards held a can of pumpkin and the last remnants a 20-pound bag of rice. That was basically it. Sheri had five children to feed. As Sheri stared into her empty cupboards, she said, "Okay Lord. I'm going to trust you. You've brought me this far. I can't believe you're going to let me fall off a cliff now. You said you would be my husband. Please provide for us..."

A friend at work a couple of weeks ago observed that our country started going to hell when they took God out of the classroom.  He was partly right.  America really started going to hell when they took God out of our churches.

Peter Farley wrote in his UFO Digest article, Islam and the Jews, that the so called Guardians of the Galactic Federation of Light from the past civilization of Angkor Watt and the Mother Earth Council, told Kosol, a Cambodian man, that the both the Muslim and the Jewish faiths must be "destroyed" in order for humanity to ascend to the next level of consciousness. They said either they had to destroyed or transformed or they would destroy the rest of us. They said that there should be "no mercy or compassion" if we really were serious about ascending to a higher level of consciousness and having world peace.

After several weeks of moving and settling in, many readers have been writing me asking for an update on our move to the Flathead Valley of Montana. First, let me say, we love it here! The scenery is spectacular, especially now that winter has arrived. What the snow does to the landscape in this mountainous region is breathtaking! Driving through the mountains is like driving through Narnia. I have never seen such beauty.

Sorry Star Trek fans, NASA astrobiologists did not recently find evidence of life on other planets. They may not have even proved that certain bacteria live on arsenic instead of phosphorus. It appears, dull as it might be, NASA only demonstrated that certain bacteria can live in toxic environments... which... we already knew.

Christmas is around the corner.   It's the time of year when cynics are pressed to enjoy hot cocoa and gingerbread and even non-believers begin to hope for miracles.  It's a time of year when faith pops into conversations.

One thing I have learned in my 30 years of walking with the Lord, that He doesn’t like a proud heart, a haughty spirit,or  a self-obsessed person. He usually will bring correction and He needs to, lest we get puffed up.

All of these machinations will of course prove to be false. One reason that the Christian faith has survived and flourished for 2000 years is because there were eyewitnesses to the crucifixion and to the resurrection.  Eyewitnesses who went to their deaths smiling because they knew they they too would be raised in death to be with the Lord. And they were not suicide bombers who killed others in the name of God. In Christianity, God sent His son to die for us while in Islam, fathers send their sons to die for Allah. There is a big difference.

NASA really hyped up its announcement yesterday that they had found extraterrestrial life. Many thought that this was the infamous Disclosure announcement that many were expecting. Finally, the government would acknowledge the existence of UFOS and aliens.

The second book of the Torah, or Pentateuch, is one of the basic "seed-plots" of the Bible. It is basic, dramatic, and provides an essential background for all that follows.  It centers on the call of Moses, one of the most pivotal men of all history and a participant at the Transfiguration (Matt 17:3). We also suspect that he will reappear as one of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11.

I knew my wife Paula was a beautiful Republican woman when I married her. I was an ugly Democrat. It was a case of the beauty and the beast. My former live in girlfriend was a Democrat whose parents were Communists from New York. They rallied against Reagan whenever they saw him on TV.

We are currently in a series of course in the Apocalypse, the book of Revelation. At the risk of being too repetitive, the book of Revelation is divided into three parts. Understanding this fact is really the key to understanding the book. The Lord Jesus instructed John, Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter. [Rev. 1:19 KJV]
