Recently I have had some very disturbing information come across my desk. It has to do with the so-called breeding program that Dr. Jacobs and others in the UFO community have researched. A brief thumbnail sketch for those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about. We are told in the Guidebook to the Supernatural i.e. the Bible that it will be like the days of Noah when the son of man returns. This begs the question what differentiates those days from any other?

The Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs has campus worship areas for Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists. It is now adding a worship area for Wiccans, Druids, and other Earth-worshiping religions on a hill above the campus. In the meanwhile, the Kentucky state senate prepares to vote on a bill to put Bible education in high school classrooms. These developments possess politically correct aspects, but they are also part of a greater spiritual battle for the souls of human beings.

Most people do not fully understand the reason for the Flood because they haven't done their homework on the "days of Noah" that Jesus highlighted prophetically (Matt 24:37). Careful study will reveal that Satan had succeeded in creating a "gene pool" problem in his stratagems to thwart the plan of God.  But this discussion exceeds the space available in this brief review.

Despite the fact that the United States has been sabotaged and hijacked by the corrupt ogres that fill our hallowed halls of power, the greater problem is the propaganda that has effectively seeped inside the brains of ill informed citizenry. For more than 13 days, 186 brave and determined patriots withstood Santa Anna's seasoned army of over 4,000 troops. To a man, the defenders of that mission fort knew they would never leave those ramparts alive. They had several opportunities to leave and live. Yet, they chose to fight and die. How foolish they must look to this generation of spoiled Americans.

Israel National News reported on July 21, 2007 that a group of Kabbalists (Jewish mystic Rabbis) in Israel had made the startling statement that a major war would take place in Israel very soon. IT obviously has not happened as of yet but is a real possibility. They apparently received their information from a variety of mystical sources including "communicating with autistic children." They also said that Iran would be involved but that great miracles of Hashem (God) would take place which would be recognizable to all even non Kabbalists. They are using evil to divine good results.

In this time of deficits, one Utah state senator has an idea about how to save the state money; make 12th grade optional. He argues that students fritter away their final year of high school anyway.  The idea may be financially appealing, but with American public schools turning out so many poorly educated students, having the kids graduate a year earlier likely won't help the problem.

While not every airplane flight can have a federal air marshal on it, it may be possible that every flight could come equipped to disable potential air bombers like 23-year-old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Detroit-bound Christmas Day bomber who has been indicted on six criminal counts including attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempted murder of 289 people.  According to the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA(AFA-CWA), alert flight attendants were able to thwart Abdulmutallab’s terrorist intentions.

In spite of my misgivings to do so and the inevitable barrage of criticism that it will engender, I feel that I need to respond to Nigel Kerners article Our Fathers who are from Spaceships.  Obviously Kerner does not share my religious views, but his viciousness demands a response.

Most of us don't wear battle armor today. Yet here is a command in God's Word to appropriate for ourselves the weaponry to protect ourselves, or else we are sitting ducks in conflicts which we cannot avoid. What is the "breastplate of righteousness?"

After eight years of work, Egypt has finished restoring a Christian monastery, considered the world's oldest. The Egyptian government is using the popular Coptic Christian pilgrimage site as a symbol of the country's willingness to peacefully coexist with its Christian minority, but after facing sectarian violence in January, Coptic Christians are even more wary of extremism and discrimination.

I posted a breaking news story last night as word came in that Iran had set up demonstrations outside the Italian, French and Dutch embassy’s in Tehran. Is this the beginning of some kind of a punch that both Khameini and Ahmadinejad have threatened the west with?

Just before WWII England’s Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlin, flew to Berlin and met with Adolph Hitler. He returned to England with what was called, “The White Paper.” It was a promise of peace from Hitler. In short, Chamberlin was duped. Hitler bought a little more time, and then as England and the rest of Europe breathed a sigh of relief, he invaded Poland, and WWII began. The conflict lasted 5 years, and millions were slaughtered. All that to say that Iran is engaging in similar tactics, as it has been tap-dancing around it’s nuclear ambitions for months and the west does nothing.

If you were ever confronted by a rattlesnake on a plane (as in that horrible movie) or anywhere else for that matter, what would you do ? Would you attempt to talk your way out of this potentially deadly experience? Would you put your arms around the snake and sing cumbaya to the sound of the bloodcurdling rattling noise? Would you read it it's Miranda rights and give it a lawyer?

Most supporters of abortion rights will provide a litany of reasons, rationales and explanations for the termination of a life.   Yet in the midst of the maelstrom of the Reagan era a decision was made by a mother and a father that would go against the grain of accepted public practice and pro-abortion advocacy.

It is interesting to note that Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has, warned western powers that he intends to strike against their “global arrogance” on February 11th. Let’s strip it down and expose what may be a likely scenario. We know that Iran has enough enriched uranium to make a bomb, but more than likely has not accomplished this…yet. However they could use the enriched uraniumn to create a radiological dirty bomb, and if deployed in a strategic area, in this case the Straits of Hormuz, would shut down the oil to China, India, the EU and the United States.

Iran has also announced that, "'it will deliver telling blow to global powers on Feb. 11,'" What does this mean? Is it just more saber-rattling or does it point to something more sinister. Is this blustering a counter move in response to US military build up in the region? Or is the sudden build up a response to Iran's plan to shut down the Straits of Hormuz?

Satan hasn't changed tactics since the beginning when he deceived Eve. He still directly contradicts God by twisting and perverting the truth. The descendants of Adam and Eve continue to seek to be gods, all the while throwing away their true positions as God's redeemed and adopted children.

While I have not seen the movie and probably won’t and have not read Cormac McCarthy 2007 Pulitzer winning novel on which the movie is based, I do have some general cultural observations, if I may.
