I was searching for the truth. I read the Bhagavad Gita and did not find it. I read the Upanishads and came up lacking. I read the I-Ching and found nothing; I read the Zohar of Kabbalah and did not find it. I read the Koran and found nothing. I read the works of William James, Rudolf Steiner, Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and did not find it.

A billboard popped up near Interstate 40 in Greensboro, North Carolina on Sunday, May 22. "That was awkward" it said, and it included the verse from Matthew 24:36 that said, "No one knows the day or the hour..." The poignant billboard has started its voyage through Facebook and around the web, offering a lighthearted response to the fact that Jesus did not return on Saturday.

As we closed last time, we saw John's description of the riders on the horses in this demon army numbering some 200,000,000. It is difficult, admittedly, to wrap our thinking around a scene such as the one John is describing here. We must remember that these are beings, creatures if you will, who exist in the spirit realm. There is a great deal concerning that realm that we do not understand.

Harold Camping is a false prophet, a false teacher.  What is dangerous about men like Camping is that the media got hold of this and had a field day, as stories were posted in much of the major media outlets. May I suggest that this event was Satanically anointed?

Asking Israel to return to pre 1967 borders is an affront to Israel. The United States has always promised Israel defensible borders and this suggestion is not defensible. God said judgment would come to all who try and divide up His land (Joel 3:2). Giving back the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem and returning to an 8 mile width will not be defensible. It will prove to be the demise of Israel.

Let’s settle one thing first: God has never used a majority to achieve anything substantive or revolutionary. It has always been a tireless, committed, and courageous remnant that He has used to accomplish things considered noteworthy and lasting. Any dead fish can swim downstream!

 There is a position as to the identity of the restrainer that I have not examined. This interpretation is based on the understanding of those who hold to what is known as the pre-wrath rapture. Basically this view of the timing of the rapture sees the Church going through at least the first three and a half years of the tribulation known as the beginning of sorrows. Those who hold this view see the first half of the seven-year tribulation period as the time not of God’s wrath on man, but man’s wrath on man.

Two churches were firebombed and an apartment building was attacked in the Imbaba suburb of Cairo May 7 in a round of violence that ended with twelve people dead and more than 200 wounded. By Friday, May 13, thousands of protestors filled Tahrir Square in Cairo to protest the violence and cry for unity. The attacks demonstrate the rising struggle between Coptic Christians and Muslims in Egypt, fomented by a group of hardliners called Salafists who have been linked with Al Qaida and who have now joined arms with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Why is the concept of Intelligent Design see by its most ardent yet intelligent detractors as so silly and so unintelligent? All that they speak of rationality and logic and common sense is belied by their very attitude. This concept of intelligent design or first cause is the basis of philosophical logic and reason.

What we know is that the struggle for a “Palestinian” homeland isn’t over by a long shot. HAMAS will never recognize Israel and is calling for  summer uprising. Hezbollah remained strangely quiet during “Nakba” day, while Arabs poured across the Syrian border.

Tomorrow is Friday 13, and it is supposed to be the start of the Third Intifada. I would point out to you that for the most part, this is being ignored by the media, however it would appear that this may be a game changing event, as if millions of Moslems gather for Friday prayers, in Tahrir square, it could be a game changer. Bottom line for me is that we’ll have to see what happens.

Thirty years ago, paleoanthropologists Donald C. Johanson and Richard Leakey got into a heated quarrel - on television - over human origins at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Johanson had discovered the famous australopithecine Lucy, and he contended that Lucy represented a human ancestor. Leakey, who grew up on fossil digs in Africa and whose team discovered Turkana Boy in 1984, argued that humans dated back before the australopithecines, and therefore Lucy did not fit into the lineage of humans.

One of the tactics used by “Rapture” theorists (whether they be Pre, Mid or Post) is to provide scripture they believe proves many Christians are already in Heaven, having ascended immediately up there after they died (or will be there by virtue of the Rapture) and can be seen coming back with Jesus Christ (as they interpret Revelation 19:7-14, which reads, And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

It is only three days until Friday, May 13. Will there be a third Intifada or will it be a no show? I don’t have any idea of what will happen and as I have posted on this BLOG, the Intifada is under the radar and is not being covered at all by our media.

As many of you know I spent the last six weeks in the hospital and a nursing home to recuperate from a vicious attack of my MS. Thanks to your prayers and the grace of God , I am back home trying to cope. I did find several instances of God’s presence during my stay and I want to share them with you if I may along with several funny stories.

Ding, dong, Osama’s dead!  Americans of all ages and persuasions, rejoice!  Our long national nightmare is over!

In less time than it took for the news to spread from coast to coast, cybercriminals already had started taking advantage of the death of Osama bin Laden. Everybody wanted to know about the May 1st raid that ended the hunt for one of the world's most notorious terrorists, and scammers knew it. Within hours of the announcement of bin Laden's death in Pakistan, scammers began using the phrase "osama bin laden dead" to draw web surfers to malicious sites, promising them photos or video or other news. When users try to download files or watch videos, their computers get infected with malware.

When I first began this series through Revelation, I wasn't entirely sure how we were going to approach it. I had thought that I might summarize the twenty-two chapters, hitting the high points. I have discovered however, that I am really not very good at summarizing. There is just so much important information in this book, that I have found it necessary to cover it in much more detail than I had originally thought I would.

In 1958, David Wilkerson saw a Life magazine picture of seven New York City teenagers charged with murder, and the Holy Spirit moved him to drive the hundreds of miles from his home in Pennsylvania to New York. He had very little idea about what he would do when he got there, but it didn't take long for him to meet angry, violent kids on the streets of the city – kids that God loved. Soon Wilkerson moved permanently to New York City, and he began a ministry to teens that eventually blossomed and planted new tap roots around the world.
